Gamescom 2025 is on track to set new milestones, with organizers revealing that exhibitor bookings have surged by 11% compared to the same timeframe last year.

The event welcomes new exhibitors such as CI Games, Disney+, Electronic Arts, and several others, including Giants Software, Headup, and Konami. Notable additions also comprise Lego, Level Infinite, Marvelous Europe, Netflix, Paramount, Sega, and Tencent Games.

High demand for exhibit spots has prompted an expansion of the public entertainment sector at the Koelnmesse to encompass Hall 8, while the indie zone will stretch into Hall 10.2. Hall 1 is set to host a dedicated event arena.

In response to the venue's vast layout, Gamescom will offer a mobile location finder to aid attendees in navigation. This tool will be operational starting August 20.

The Opening Night Live event, which sees Geoff Keighley and Eefje Depoortere return on August 19, is set to showcase Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, the inaugural game announced for this year's broadcast. Esports activities are also set to grow in scope.

Tim Endres, the director of Gamescom, expressed excitement, stating "gamescom 2025 will be bigger, more thrilling and once again the beating heart of the global gaming community."

Confirmed participants for Gamescom 2025 include major names such as 2K, 9gag, aerosoft, and others, including astragon, Asus, Bandai Namco, and Bethesda. Additional participants are Bilibili, Blizzard Entertainment, Capcom, CD Projekt Red, Fandom, Focus Entertainment, and Freaks 4U Gaming. Key players like Hoyoverse, Inven, Krafton, Meta Quest, Nintendo, and Ubisoft are also on this extensive list.

This year's Gamescom will be from August 20 to August 25.
