The program for the St. Petersburg conference "Game Industry" has been published. Among the speakers are the creators of ILL and ATOM RPG
Next week, on July 10th, the conference "Game Industry" will take place in the Northern Capital. We are sharing the event's schedule.
The event will run for one day across three tracks, from 11:00 AM to 6:10 PM. A total of 24 presentations and several additional activities are planned.
The tracks are tentatively divided by content.
In the "Blue Hall," developer case studies will be presented. Among the speakers in this track:
- Alexander Kompanets from Atom Team (ATOM RPG and ATOM RPG Trudograd) with a topic "From Freedom to Structure — and Back. What Indie and Enterprise Can Offer Each Other, and Why You Should Try Both Worlds";
- Anton Tokarev from Team Clout (ILL) with a presentation on how to boost leadership in game design;
- Rostislav Kolytyak from BlackHub Games (Black Russia), who will discuss how working with the community saves budgets and improves metrics;
- Alexey Karpenko from Codigames (Idle Town Master, Prison Empire Tycoon, Idle Theme Park Tycoon) will speak on "Game Economics and Monetization 2025: Building Sustainable Ecosystems."
ILL
The "Red Hall" is dedicated to AI, publishing, and investments. During this session:
- Slava Gris from RedblackSpade (Reflection of Mine, Catmaze, Fearmonium) will explain how artificial intelligence is changing developers themselves;
- Guzaliya Khashimova from Astrum Entertainment (NCORE, Warface, "Allods Online") will give a lecture on working with marketing art;
- Evgeny Mirkin from RuStore will speak on the mistakes developers make when launching projects in the Russian mobile store;
- Dmitry Stolyarov from VK will discuss "How to Profit from HTML5 Games on Social Networks."
NCORE
In the "Green Hall," there will be presentations on process building and HR. Among these:
- Marina Lopatina from WN Talents will discuss the similarities and differences between the Russian and international job markets;
- Yulia Burenkova from Semenov&Pevzner will provide insights on what to do if your game is removed from stores;
- Alena Karaseva from "GostTeam" will extensively cover the topic of establishing and systematizing processes in a game studio.
Besides the presentations, the conference will feature:
- A panel discussion "And Once Again about AI: Who Will Create Games and Creative Content Tomorrow?" featuring Philipp Karmanov (Black Snowflake), Artem Abramov (Antifreeze Games), and Petr Kireyev (CREOS);
- A public interview with Alexey Soyer and Yuri Yamshchikov on the topic "Points of Interaction Between Digital and Board Game Industries";
- A major two-hour indie pitch, where Daniil Kolesnikov (HeroCraft), Alexander Egorov (VK Play Media and VK Play Indie), and Mikhail Romanov ("Fogame") will critique several dozen game projects;
- A closed round table on "Management Trends in Game Companies 2025."
The "Game Industry" will conclude with a large networking party at the Unity Petrogradka restaurant, which is a five-minute walk from the Petrogradskaya metro station.
