The conference will be held in Tel Aviv. The first speakers are already known.
Exactly one month before the upcoming event, WN Media Group shared the first details of the future event. She told about the place and the preliminary program of the event.
The local game dev community will be able to get first-hand information tomorrow, October 26, at WN Connect, a networking event to be held at Ilka Bar. You can join for free.
Place
The WN Conference will be held at the David InterContinental Hotel. The latter is located in Neve Tzedek, one of the oldest districts of Tel Aviv. The windows of the hotel overlook the Mediterranean Sea, and the exhibition area leads to the beach.
Program
The event will traditionally run for two days. The full program has not yet been published (we will write about it separately later), but the first 14 speakers have already been announced. For example, among the speakers will be:
- Barak Shaked from the Wildlife Studios mobile game development team (a Brazilian company with revenue of more than $10 million per month);
- John Goodale, principal of Venture Tech Partners, a consulting agency specializing in helping manage gaming companies and scaling businesses in general;
- Martin Macmillan, CEO and founder of the Pollen VC venture fund, which gives developers money for revenue not yet received from the store.
Showcase
More than 50 games will be presented in the exhibition area, another 100 will be available to watch online on the WN Hub platform. As always, the participant of the showcase can get a ticket to the event for free, and offline — also a stand for his project. To do this, you need to apply for participation in the exhibition by November 9.
All developers can also participate in the WN Dev Contest with a total prize pool of $100,000 from Xsolla. The games will be evaluated by a competent jury, among which, in addition to representatives of Xsolla, also The Games Fund, Scopely, GEM Capital and others.
The stands of the event sponsors are also expected in the expo zone – Yandex Ads, Yandex Games, Payler, VK, Xsolla, GEM Capital, Digital Turbine, Banksters, Moloco and many others.
Expectations
The WN will be held in Israel for the first time. However, given the significant local community of game developers and representatives of mobile services, as well as ten years of experience in holding international events, the organizers expect at least 1300 participants from different countries.
