The WN Conference took place in Abu Dhabi on February 11-12. Here's a report on the outcomes
Last week, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) hosted a conference for game developers and publishers called the WN Conference. Among its participants were representatives from companies such as Mundfish, Ubisoft, Google, AD Gaming, GEM Capital, Razer, Applovin, and many others.
The event received positive feedback from both speakers and guests.
It was something else! I have gained a new perspective on my games, discovered ideas I hadn't even considered, and spent time with some of the most talented and hardworking people in the industry.

The event was attended by 505 people. According to statistics published by the organizers, 64% were top managers and company owners, and another 16% identified themselves as business development and sales managers.
As in the previous year, the conference's general partner was the government organization Abu Dhabi Gaming, which is engaged in developing the gaming and esports industries in the UAE, including connecting developers with investors.
Besides that, the WN Conference in Abu Dhabi was supported by Mundfish, GEM Capital, Malpa, Strategy Park, Brightika, RoasUp, hardbit, Infinity Art Solutions, infatica.io, as well as Google, Moloco, TikTok, Appier, Audiomob, Airbridge, SunStrike, HyperFactory, Subscible, and JustMoby.
Traditionally, within the WN Conference, with the support of GEM Capital, a game project competition was held. The winners were:

- For Best Art and Grand Prix — DISTORTION by Game Art Pioneers;
- For Best Narrative — The Cat by The Kingsdom.
This is the second conference (and third event) conducted by WN Media Group in the UAE. The next major conference of the company will take place on April 4 in Berlin.
