WN Conference returning to China this month with special games industry event in Xiamen

WN Media Group has announced a new games industry event. The conference will take place in Xiamen, China on November 21-22 with the participation from Krafton, IGDA, AppsFlyer, MY.GAMES, and the local government.

Why Xiamen?

Xiamen is a leading logistics hub in South China. The city is also known for developing and manufacturing high-tech components, such as LCD displays and microchips.

When looking for a new location for its next conference, WN Media Group chose Xiamen for its video game software development capabilities. For example, the city is a home to the open-source engine Cocos and Game of Sultans developer DreamPlus Games.

Since 2008, the Xiamen Municipal Government has also hosted the Golden Dolphin Award that promotes creative works in animation. This year’s award ceremony will be held as part of WN Conference Xiamen’24. There will also be the special Game Works Competition, which has already received nearly 400 applications from teams from 26 countries.

What to expect from WN Conference Xiamen’24?

The conference will last for two days. On November 21, it will open with the Golden Dolphin Award ceremony. After that, attendees will be able to start networking with each other. The official program is scheduled for November 22.

Program

The talks and keynotes will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time (GMT+8). Some of them can be seen below:
