WN CEO Summit in Istanbul gathered 100 top managers from Microsoft, Azur Games, Rollic Games and other companies

On September 20, the WN CEO Summit was held in Turkey. This time it was held in Istanbul. The event was attended by 100 top managers of gaming and IT companies from 16 countries.

Organizers from WN Media Group report that representatives of 71 companies, including Microsoft, Google, Azur Games, Rollic Games, Infusion Games and AppMagic, took part in the summit.

More than half of the companies attending the summit are engaged in game development. 61% of the companies were from the Middle East and North Africa, another 22% were from Europe.

The first part of the summit was held in the panoramic restaurant Mürver on the roof, the second — on a yacht cruising along the Bosphorus.

In addition to the traditional networking at the summit, there were closed discussions — "round tables". At them, top managers could discuss industry topics and exchange opinions in a calm atmosphere.

This time they talked about the following topics:

  • "When is the right time to: 1) sell a company, 2) raise money, 3) maintain the status quo" — moderated by Shum Singh, Managing Director and Founder of Agnitio Capital;
  • "A new look at growth: What will mobile game marketing look like in the next ten years?" — moderated by Fernando Pernica, Director of Business Development and Co-founder of Nafta;
  • "The impact of AI technologies on game development" — moderated by Kazim Akalin, General Partner of Boğaziçi Ventures;
  • "Is Unity's new monetization model an attempt to change the market or an adventure?" — moderated by Maxim Samorukov, CEO and Founder of AppMagic;
  • "Be like water: How do publishers diversify revenue with brands?" — moderated by Kelly McGrath, Vice President of In-app Purchases at Ogury.

Recall that the WN CEO Summit is an event that is focused on owners, founders and CEOs of companies related to the video game market. He goes without the lecture part.
