WN Connect in Beijing brought together 133 people from NetEase, Perfect World, and other companies
The latest WN Connect event took place on May 24 in Beijing, China. It was attended by local games industry professionals from NetEase, Perfect World, FunPlus, yodo1, Lilith Games, Cocos, and more.
According to the event’s organizer, WN Media Group, game publishers accounted for 48% of the total number of firms that participated in WN Connect Beijing’23. Other company types include developers (43%), investors (26%), and platforms (22%).

The largest group of attendees were BD & sales managers, accounting for 39% of the 133 visitors. They are followed by C-level executives and marketing & PR specialists (28% each).

WN Connects are small events for 100-150 people usually dedicated to the local games industry. Their ultimate goal is to help developers, managers, investors, and other professionals share their experiences and discuss various business topics.
WN Connect Beijing’23 was the third WN Connect that has taken place in China. Two previous events were held in Shenzen on March 30 and December 21, 2022. They were attended by representatives of Tencent, Roblox, ByteDance, and other local companies. All three combined brought together over 400 people.
