On April 8, a conference for game developers GameDev CityFest will be held in Novosibirsk

We tell you about the program and details of the future event.

At the beginning of next month, the annual conference for developers of computer and mobile games GameDev CityFest will be held in Siberia.

It will be held in the very center of Novosibirsk, in the Domina business Hotel. The organizers expect more than 300 participants.

The event will last one day, during which lectures will be held in two streams. To date, about 20 reports have been announced. Let’s focus on some of them:

• Vera Velichko, CEO of OWL studio, will talk about how artists can prepare for a new reality in which there are neural networks;
• Konstantin Sakhnov, founder of Vengeance Games, will give a lecture on the evaluation of commercial success at the concept stage;
• Alexander Companets, founder of Atom Team, will talk about whether an indie developer needs a publisher;
• Alyona Kuzmina, Senior Associate at Semenov&Pevzner, will share a checklist for video game developers.

Representatives of 1C Game studios, Axlebolt, Overmobile, Globo games, Selectel and many other companies will also speak. The full list of speakers and topics of their speeches can be found on the conference website.

As part of the program, the general sponsor of the VKontakte Games event will hold a whole block for participants, including a report on promotion and earnings tools for HTML5 projects, a Q&A session on launching projects on the gaming platform and a drawing of VKontakte advertising budgets totaling 240 thousand rubles.

In addition to reports and a block from the sponsor, participants will have a showcase zone, special activities for developers, and at the end of the day – a networking party.

A week before the event, on March 31, access will be opened to the event page on the WN Hub platform, where participants of the event will be able to meet, communicate with each other and with speakers online.

GameDev CityFest is the largest gaming event in Siberia. It takes place on an annual basis for the sixth time. And, by the way, this time the Organization for the Development of the video Game Industry acted as a strategic partner of the conference.
