Dragon Snacks Games, a recently established entity, is dedicated to creating joyful gaming experiences that focus on building community-centered interactions
Jen MacLean, Chris Nemcosky, and Michelle Menard have joined forces to launch Dragon Snacks Games.
Their goal is to create games that are joyous and community-focused, where players have the opportunity to forge social experiences and personal connections. The company aims to innovate by providing inclusive environments that emphasize creativity, collaboration, and connection.
With previous experience at prominent companies like Xbox, Amazon, Scopely, Backflip, and Zynga, the founders have observed industry trends and shifts firsthand, prompting them to pursue a new direction in gaming.
Leveraging their experience in approving, funding, and distributing major games, they decided to set out independently to explore new possibilities.
MacLean takes the helm as CEO, while Nemcosky and Menard assume the roles of chief technical officer and chief creative officer, respectively.
MacLean stated, “We must look beyond the players of five years ago and focus on today and tomorrow's audience. Gen Z and Gen Alpha have different expectations, and we’re committed to evolving with them rather than relying on traditional industry strategies.”
Menard emphasized, “Our ambition is to design social gaming experiences that adapt in scale depending on the time available to players, fostering connections with the people who matter most."
Nemcosky highlighted the company's approach to development: “By focusing on a player-centric method with quick iterations, continuously playable versions, and leveraging constant community insight, we're creating games tailored for the contemporary gamer. Our strategy is set to define the future footprint for successful, enduring games and businesses.”
