Gearbox Software closes forums. Now the company plans to communicate with the community only in Discord
All official web forums of the Borderlands developer series will be closed in August 2022. Now they have switched to the “read-only” status. Communication with players goes to social networks.
The company motivated the decision by the fact that community members have recently begun to prefer official channels on other platforms for interaction with forums.
Officially, the company, of course, does not say that players should now use Discord. However, under the announcement of the closure of the forums, there are a list of links to the official Borderlands, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, Homeworld and Godfall communities. And they are all based in Discord.
