Nintendo minimizes the hack, asserting that there has been "no leak of personal, development, or business information"

Nintendo has stated that recent unauthorized access to its systems did not compromise its development or business data. Last week, cyber attackers claimed to have penetrated Nintendo's servers, alleging that they had retrieved internal information and displaying screenshots of numerous Nintendo "topic files."
However, according to a report in The Sankei Shimbun (courtesy of IGN), Nintendo has minimized the impact of this security breach, indicating that it was confined solely to data related to its websites.
Nintendo, in a concise declaration, mentioned: "We have not confirmed any leak of personal information, and there has been no leak of development or business information."
The company refrained from addressing the ongoing repercussions of the previous breach of Game Freak's servers. This past security incident recently resurfaced in the news following disclosures about leaked details, including plans for the series up until 2030.
In August 2024, Game Freak acknowledged a breach that exposed information concerning 2,606 employees and contractors. This breach also unintentionally revealed codenames for the upcoming Switch 2, future Pokémon games, and an unannounced project.
