Geoff Keighley has invested in The Game Business, a gaming media outlet founded by the former head of GamesIndustry
Christopher Dring, who led the editorial team of one of the largest portals on the business side of the gaming industry, GamesIndustry, for over eight years, has launched his own media outlet. It is called The Game Business.
In the announcement, Dring stated that Geoff Keighley, producer of the gaming shows The Game Awards and Summer Game Fest, helped him launch The Game Business. Keighley agreed to become his partner and investor. The amount Keighley invested in the project has not been disclosed.
Dring emphasized that although Keighley has invested in The Game Business, his media outlet is not part of The Game Awards and operates independently. However, thanks to the support, most of the materials from The Game Business will be distributed for free.
