The second book by Jason Schreier will appear on Russian shelves on September 28

The sequel to “Blood, Sweat and Pixels” by Jason Schreier is being prepared for publication in Russia. A new book about the dark side of video game development will go on sale on September 28.

In Russian, the book will be called “Press Reset. How the gaming industry ruins careers and gives a second chance.” In it, Schreier will talk about what happens to developers after the studios close. The heroes of the stories will be the authors of BioShock Infinite, Epic Mickey, Dead Space and many other games.

The Bombora publishing house will release “Press Reset”. You can pre-order through OZON for 654 rubles (it looks like the price tag will grow to 949 rubles later). Note that the website states that the book will be available for retail sale only on October 8. Perhaps then the second stage of sales will start.
