Keywords Studios has announced the acquisition of Wushu Studios

Wushu Studios, based in Liverpool, is now under the ownership of Keywords Studios for an undisclosed price.

Launched in 2017 by Alan McDermott, Wushu offers numerous services such as work-for-hire, porting, remastering, and ongoing support to publishers and developers.

Their portfolio includes notable titles like Baldur's Gate 3, Fall Guys, Forza Horizon 5, The Ascent, and State of Decay 2.

Keywords CEO Bertrand Bodson stated, "This acquisition is part of our strategy to expand our game development capabilities globally. Having two studios in Liverpool, a key UK talent hub, enhances our offerings."

Bodson added, "Wushu's expertise and robust network will be invaluable to our existing Create studios as we continue to serve our international clients."
