These figures were cited in a conversation with TASS by the head of Moscow's Department of Culture, Alexey Fursin. According to him, gaming companies currently make up the majority of organizations collaborating with the cluster. There are over four times fewer animation studios among the residents—13 in total.

Fursin did not disclose the names of specific companies, but information on the cluster's website reveals that the list of residents includes Game Art Pioneers, Watt Studio, and Geeky House.

Fursin added that collectively, all cluster participants are working on more than 250 projects.

The Moscow video game and animation cluster opened at the Skolkovo Innovation Center in November 2025. Companies within it can qualify for tax and customs benefits, as well as assistance with promoting games internationally—they are taken to various international exhibitions such as the Tokyo Game Show and ChinaJoy for this purpose.
