Treyarch states that it employs artificial intelligence "not to replace, but to streamline" the creation of art by humans

Treyarch aims to enhance human-generated art using artificial intelligence, ensuring it doesn't replace human contributions.
Miles Leslie, the associate creative director, explained to IGN that AI is employed to assist the team rather than supplant human input.
"In today's world, AI tools exist," Leslie remarked. He emphasized that although AI assists the development process, team members fully oversee all game content. Their prior statement about Black Ops 6 clarified this approach.
Leslie acknowledged potential concerns by stating, "If AI elements have appeared, it was unintentional." He reiterated that AI serves as a supportive tool rather than a substitute for the creative team's contributions.
He summarized, "Everything you experience is crafted and refined by humans. The true aim with AI is to streamline, not to replace."
In July 2024, Activision Blizzard sanctioned the use of generative AI technologies, including Midjourney and Stable Diffusion, for crafting concept art and marketing content.
