Red Art Games has been hacked, some player data stolen

The French publisher Red Art Games reported that its website was subjected to a cyberattack. Hackers managed to steal some user data, including players' names, birthdates, email addresses, residences, and phone numbers.

According to the company, the attackers did not gain access to banking information. Nevertheless, they urged players to remain vigilant and not fall for scams from fraudsters who may reach out to them soon on behalf of Red Art Games.

For security reasons, Red Art Games has temporarily taken down the website and suspended order processing and refunds.

Red Art Games specializes primarily in publishing physical copies of games that were originally available only digitally. Their portfolio includes disk releases of Lost Ruins, Nuclear Blaze, Last Night of Winter, Promenade, and many other projects.
