App Annie has published a list of the highest-grossing mobile publishers
App Annie analytical company has released Top 52 companies that earned the most money on the App Store and Google Play in 2014. Only one company from Russia entered the top.
The top itself can be found just below, and we want to draw your attention to two points. Firstly, as expected, most of the companies on the list are gaming. Secondly, Russia this year is represented only by Social Quantum, which has slipped from the 21st place, which it occupied at the end of 2013, to the 48th position (Game Insight dropped out of the top).
App Annie itself highlights the following things:
- growth in the number of Asian players (29 vs. 26 last year);
- reduction in the number of publishers on the list (18 publishers who were on the 2013 list disappeared in 2014);
- at the same time, the Top 5 remains relatively stable (only one new player).
And a few more figures: most of all in the list of Japanese companies – 17, American slightly less – 15. China is represented by only 7 companies so far.
