With the help of App Annie, you can now monitor the DAU of competitors

App Annie a couple of days ago introduced the Usage Intelligence tool, which allows you to track competitors in applications: the number of active users; the average number of sessions per user; the average session time; the total number of sessions and the total time spent in the application.

С помощью App Annie теперь можно мониторить DAU конкурентов

In other words, if earlier with the help of App Annie it was possible (among other things) to regularly monitor the position of applications in the top and get information about exactly how much they earn per day, now a new internal service has entered among the key features, which literally turns the mobile application market into the most transparent ecosystem.

In fact, using Usage Intelligence, you can easily understand what exactly determines the position of a particular application in the top. Such tools seem to us especially relevant for investors and companies deciding which project makes sense to develop in the current market situation.

It can also be useful for those who, while studying the market, are ready to track competitors’ projects, for example, analyze the output of each update of someone else’s game, see how levels with an unusual design affected the total number of sessions and time spent in the game. And, starting from this, draw certain conclusions without repeating unsuccessful decisions and, conversely, borrowing successful ones.

Usage Intelligence is currently in beta testing. As we understood, it is possible to access it so far only through the purchase of an Intelligence services package, which costs $ 599 per month.
