The East Asian mobile games market will earn more than $12.4 billion in 2014

1

The combined revenue of mobile games in Japan, China, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong will reach $12.4 billion this year, according to a joint study by Japanese analytical companies CyberZ and Seed Planning.

This is a lot, but if you look at the dynamics of the market, it is not as good as a year earlier. According to analysts, in 2013, the joint revenues of these countries, amounting to $8.9 billion, doubled. Then, by the way, most of the revenue came from Japan, which earned $5.3 billion.

Addition: mobile games in this study meant only projects launched on smartphones. As we understood, revenues from tablets and feature phones were not taken into account.
