The publisher of Risen and Sacred is entering the mobile market

Deep Silver, a division of the German company Koch Media that specializes in publishing computer and console games, has announced its plans to enter the mobile gaming market.

As a result, Deep Silver plans to increase its number of employees. However, it is not yet clear what exactly they will be working on. Whether the company's games will be original titles or mobile versions of popular franchises remains unknown.

Among the popular titles in the company's portfolio are Dead Island, Risen, and Sacred. Recently, during the THQ asset sale, the Germans also acquired the Volition studio along with the rights to Saint Row and the project Metro: Last Light.

According to the Executive Director of Koch Media/Deep Silver, Klemens Kundratitz, expanding gaming brands to new platforms, particularly mobile ones, is a logical step today. Following their new multi-platform strategy, the company aims to enable gamers to enjoy immersive gaming experiences anytime and anywhere.
