The mobile app market in 2012 will amount to $30 billion
The volume of the mobile market in the world will double over the past year, reaching $30 billion, according to experts from ABI Research.
This figure takes into account revenue from paid apps, subscriptions, in-app advertising, and IAP. Moreover, a third of this amount will fall on the income of Android developers.
“We are no longer talking about mobile apps as a gold rush. Applications have become a significant part of the digital industry,” said Aapo Markkanen, senior analyst at ABI Research.
