The mobile app market will reach $35 billion by 2017

Most of the profits from the mobile app market will come from advertising next year.

According to experts of the analytical company Strategy Analytics, the total revenue from mobile applications by 2017 will reach $ 35 billion (for comparison, back in 2009 the market volume did not exceed $ 1 billion). Moreover, in five years, 75% of these funds (about $ 26 billion) will be controlled by the leading platform holders – Apple and Google.

It is predicted that the share of paid applications will decrease to 36%, and IAP will bring a significant part of the revenue. At the same time, the role of advertising will be crippled many times. According to the forecast, next year it will account for most of the revenues of the mobile entertainment segment.
