GOG is entering the gaming publishing market — the company will be releasing indie games in collaboration with Retrovibe

The digital store GOG has announced the launch of its own publishing division. It has been named Retrovibe by GOG and was created in collaboration with the independent Polish publisher Retrovibe.

As the companies announced, Retrovibe by GOG will focus on supporting independent developers. The division will handle funding of individual projects, marketing, interaction with bloggers and the gaming press, as well as preparing and certifying games for release on various platforms.

The two companies are linked by one of the CD PROJEKT founders, Michał Kiciński. He is a co-founder of Retrovibe (holding a 50% stake) and has been the owner of GOG since December 2025.

The first game under the brand of this new initiative will be Cop Bastard, with its release scheduled for October 29. Also listed among the initial projects is Project Warlock: Lost Chapters, the third game in the Project Warlock line.

Both projects will be available not only on GOG but also on Steam. Therefore, the publishing division will not limit itself to promoting games through its own store.

The terms of cooperation with developers, including the size of investments and revenue distribution, have not yet been publicly disclosed by the companies.
