The illegal segment of the American online gambling market is rapidly growing, according to a study by Gaming Compliance International. Analysts estimate that last year, its revenue reached $97.4 billion.
For comparison, in 2024, it was "only" $67.1 billion. Thus, the amount increased by 45.2% over the year.
Meanwhile, the legal segment is not growing as quickly, and its revenue is significantly lower. It is reported that in 2025, legally regulated online gambling in the U.S. earned $28.3 billion within the country. The growth amounted to 23%.
The total revenue of the entire U.S. online gambling market increased by 39.4% compared to 2024.
