In four years, the mobile gaming market in India could more than double — analysis
Each year, mobile games are generating more revenue in India. According to a report by MIXI Global Investments citing data from Sensor Tower and AppsFlyer, by 2029, their revenue in the country is expected to reach $2.4 billion.

It is forecasted that $1.94 billion of this amount will come from in-app purchases (IAP), while an additional $502 million will be generated through advertising.
For comparison, in 2025, the mobile gaming market revenue in India amounted to $1.1 billion, and this year it is expected to reach $1.5 billion.
The report also mentions that over 600 million residents of India play games every month, and this number continues to grow. How much it will be by 2029 is not specified.
Analysts estimate that the highest-grossing mobile game genres in India in terms of IAP are shooters, RPGs, and puzzle games. Meanwhile, simulators and arcade games lead in downloads in the country, and shooters and puzzle games top the playtime charts.
