Russian iPhone App Market

As in most countries, games are leading in terms of the number of applications and downloads in our country. But they are not as popular as, for example, in the UK.

In Russia, 40.7% of the top 150 free iPhone apps are games, while in England – 65.8%. There are only 35.6% of games among paid applications in Russia (while in the UK – 61.1%).

If you look at the top 10 iPhone apps, there are only two games in the top free apps in Russia, and three in the top paid ones. If we compare with the same UK, there eight out of ten in the top 10 of both paid and free apps are games.
