In 2025, the total revenue of the gaming markets in Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa will reach $89 billion, according to analysts

As calculated by the analysts, compared to the previous year, the amount will increase only slightly—by 2.7%. Nevertheless, it will continue to rise in the future, reaching $99.6 billion by 2029.

The primary market in the region remains China. According to Niko Partners' forecast, in 2025, China alone is expected to generate about $51.15 billion or 57.5% of the total revenue. Another 32.7% of the revenue will come from Japan and South Korea combined—their individual shares are not disclosed. The remaining countries will earn significantly less from games.

The analysts also discovered that by the end of this year, 1.7 billion gamers will reside in the regions of Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa. This is also 2.7% more than the totals at the end of 2024. The vast majority will be concentrated in China (43.1%) and India (29.6%).
