WN Talents has prepared a salary survey of the Russian-speaking gaming industry for the year 2025

The recruitment agency WN Talents has presented a comprehensive salary study of the Russian-speaking gaming industry for the year 2025. This is the first comprehensive data update in two years—the previous major report was released in 2023 by App2Top.

The new report includes 147 slides with charts, graphs, and detailed metrics, covering key aspects of the life and work of game development professionals.

The report provides data on:

  • the average salary level across the entire Russian-speaking gaming industry;
  • how much specialists in different fields and levels earn—from juniors to executives;
  • how satisfied employees are with their income level and work overall;
  • where Russian-speaking developers are distributed by country—and where the industry's main pool is located;
  • how much, on average, specialists in Russia, Serbia, and Cyprus spend on living expenses;
  • how the incomes of developers with different specialties and levels differ based on the country they reside in.

According to the WN Talents team, the goal of the research is to showcase the current state of the Russian-speaking gaming industry: how the geography of specialists has changed, what salary levels currently prevail, and how securely employees feel in the market.

"We have gathered data showing how Russian-speaking professionals in the gaming industry live, work, and earn today. Where they are located, how much they spend, and whether they are satisfied with their jobs—all of this you will find in the report," stated Marina Lopatina, Business Development Director at WN Talents.

The conducted research can be useful for both employers and specialists—when planning a career, relocation, or changing salary expectations.

The report is already available for purchase.
