Following its release on Xbox, Helldivers 2 secured the fourth spot on the revenue charts for August 2025, according to Newzoo Charts
The launch of Helldivers 2 on Xbox in late August resulted in significant growth in revenue, securing the fourth spot on Newzoo's overall revenue chart for that month.
Its debut on August 26, bolstered by a collaboration with Halo, also increased how much players engaged with the co-op shooter, placing it at No.13 on Newzoo's player engagement chart and at No.11 on the Xbox-specific list.
Battlefield 6 also made notable strides, debuting at No.3 on the engagement chart. The game's short early access and subsequent two open beta periods resulted in more than 520,000 players, making it the most played in the series on Steam.
These results have been recognized by Newzoo as positive signs leading up to the game's full release on October 10.
The earlier availability of the Battlefield 6 beta and a subsequent content update and discount contributed to a surge in player engagement for Battlefield 2042, marking its highest monthly active users since its 2021 launch.
Additionally, Mafia: The Old Country by 2K debuted at No.6 on the revenue charts, with two-thirds of its sales attributed to PlayStation.
Despite a late-month release, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater also entered the Top 20.
