Sensor Tower: The mobile version of Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond earned over $30 million in its debut month

Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond is a free-to-play CCG based on the popular Japanese franchise Shadowverse. The game was released on June 17, 2025, for mobile devices and PC, and according to analysts at Sensor Tower, it has performed quite well overall.

According to the analysts, by mid-July, the revenue from the mobile version alone exceeded $30 million. It is worth noting that Sensor Tower accounts for income only from the App Store and Google Play, excluding Chinese Android stores, where the total would be slightly higher.

Reportedly, 90% of the mobile revenue for Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond was generated in its home country of Japan. The second highest revenue market was Taiwan at 3%. The United States and South Korea followed, each accounting for 2%.

Analysts estimated the global downloads of the mobile Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond for its debut month at 1.2 million. In this case, the top countries were Japan (70%), the United States (6%), Taiwan (5%), and Thailand (5%).

The revenue for the PC version of Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond was not disclosed by analysts. However, according to data from VG Insights—a subsidiary of Sensor Tower—the game has been downloaded 639 thousand times on Steam to date. Notably, most gamers were not pleased with the CCG, as its current rating on Steam is "mostly negative" at 28%.
