Almost 3 million people have played Wuchang: Fallen Feathers — analytics

The analytical company VG Insights shared its data on the audience of the Chinese Soulslike Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.

  • According to analysts' calculations, since its release on July 24, 2025, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers has attracted 2.8 million players. This number accounts for both game purchasers and those who accessed it through the Game Pass subscription.
  • VG Insights did not specify how the current audience is distributed across platforms. Instead, analysts noted that as of early August (when there were slightly more than 2 million players), 43% of users were playing on Xbox, 42% on Steam, and 15% on PlayStation. The game's popularity on Xbox is attributed to its availability on Game Pass.
  • The majority of Wuchang: Fallen Feathers' audience on Steam to date is from China — 73%. The second largest market is the USA at 6%, with Russia rounding out the top three at 2%.
  • 83.2% of gamers who purchased Wuchang: Fallen Feathers on Steam previously played Black Myth: Wukong.
