Newzoo Charts show Fortnite maintaining its dominance in revenue and monthly active users as of July 2025 | Newzoo Charts

Fortnite achieved the top spot as the most popular game for July, leading the charts for monthly active users (MAU) and revenue in both the PC and console gaming markets.

Data from Newzoo indicates that EA Sports College Football 26 was the runner-up, while Ready or Not by Void Interactive surged over 100 places to third place following its console release during the same month.

Significant performances were also observed by Destiny 2 from Bungie, which climbed 23 spots into the top 10, and Marvel Rivals, which rose by 11 positions. Other prominent titles included EA's The Sims, CS:GO, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, and EA Sports FC 25. Nintendo’s Donkey Kong Bananza was another notable new entry, available exclusively on the Nintendo Switch 2, alongside EA Sports College Football 26 in the rankings.

Regarding MAU rankings, Black Ops 6 came in second after Fortnite, with Roblox rounding out the top three. The rest of the top 10 remained largely unchanged from the previous month.

Elsewhere, the game Peak was highlighted by Newzoo for its continued success after launch, benefiting from competitive pricing and ongoing support. Meanwhile, Cyberpunk 2077 and Red Dead Redemption 2 both advanced in the rankings by 20 and 6 spots respectively, thanks to significant updates.
