Peak was purchased nearly 10 million times, and the game's revenue exceeded $55 million — analytics

The update that added a desert biome and a major discount have significantly boosted sales of the co-op climbing hit Peak, report analysts from Alinea Analytics.

According to expert assessments, the game sold 1.7 million copies between August 11-17 alone, marking the highest weekly sales for Peak since its release.

As a result, Alinea Analytics reports that total lifetime sales of Peak have reached 9.7 million copies. Analysts believe they will surpass 10 million copies any day now. So far, only one budget indie title in 2025 has crossed this threshold on Steam — R.E.P.O, with 16.8 million copies.

Analysts also noted that on Sunday, August 17, Peak broke two of its records. Its peak online presence on Steam reached 170.7 thousand people, and the daily active user count surpassed 1.3 million.
