In May, the game Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 re-entered the Top 10 in Newzoo's revenue rankings after initially debuting at the 13th spot in April. This upward movement is considered uncommon for a premium game post-release, highlighting the game's quality and the impact of ongoing word-of-mouth promotion.

Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time reached the 20th position on the revenue chart, achieving over a million sales across all platforms. Impressively, it sold half a million units within just three days and secured the 3rd spot on the Nintendo Switch revenue chart.

Meanwhile, Doom: The Dark Ages appeared at 9th place in overall revenue, driven largely by revenues from Xbox Game Pass. More than 95% of its sales were attributed to PlayStation and Steam. However, Xbox accounted for 72% of active player engagement for Doom in Newzoo's data.

The release of a second trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6, which attracted a record 475 million viewers in 24 hours, significantly boosted the player numbers for Grand Theft Auto 5.

Star Wars Battlefront 2, originally released in 2017, saw a notable increase in player activity. This resurgence was spurred by a community-driven campaign and a discount for Star Wars Day, though most monthly active users (86%) were returning fans.
