Analysis: only 11% of Elden Ring Nightreign sales were on Xbox
The analytical service VG Insights studied the initial sales of Elden Ring Nightreign. According to their data, by the end of the debut week, FromSoftware and Bandai Namco sold 4.3 million copies of the game, with more than half attributed to the PC version.

According to VG Insights, the platform distribution of weekly sales for Elden Ring Nightreign is as follows:
- 58% of the copies were for the Steam version;
- 30% of the copies were for the PlayStation version;
- 11% of the copies were for the Xbox version.
The main market for Elden Ring Nightreign, analysts write, was the United States, accounting for 36% of sales. Other top countries included China (9%), Germany (7%), the United Kingdom (5%), and Japan (5%).
Almost all owners of Elden Ring Nightreign previously played the original Elden Ring. Newcomers to the franchise accounted for only 15%.
Elden Ring Nightreign was released on May 30. Officially, developers reported sales of over 3.5 million copies — a milestone reached four days after the release.
