Niko Partners: by the end of 2024, the revenue of Dungeon & Fighter Mobile in China approached $2.5 billion

Dungeon & Fighter Mobile was released in China in May 2024 and became a huge success for Tencent and Nexon. According to analysts from Niko Partners, by the end of last year, the mobile game earned nearly $2.5 billion in China.

This amount includes the game's revenue from both the App Store and Android stores. How the money was distributed among platforms is not disclosed.

According to Niko Partners, by the end of 2024, Dungeon & Fighter Mobile ranked second among the top-grossing games in the Chinese App Store. It was surpassed in iOS revenue in China only by another Tencent hit — Honor of Kings.

Previous milestones of the Chinese version of Dungeon & Fighter Mobile:

  • $140 million — one week after release (Niko Partners);
  • $500 million — one month after release (Niko Partners);
  • $820 million — four months after release (Sensor Tower, only iOS revenue).

Let us recall that besides China, Dungeon & Fighter Mobile is also available in South Korea, where it was released in March 2022. Whether the game will have a global release is unknown.
