Call of Duty leads revenue rankings for October 2024, according to Newzoo Charts

In October 2024, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2/3/Warzone/Black Ops 6 emerged as the best-selling video game in the six countries surveyed by Newzoo, including the US, UK, Germany, France, Spain, and Italy.

Following Call of Duty were Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero!, EA Sports FC 25, and Fortnite, positioned at the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th spots among top-grossing games, respectively.

Konami made a significant comeback with the Silent Hill 2 Remake, which entered the chart at number nine. The reboot, the first in over ten years for the series, was well-received by both longtime enthusiasts and new players, highlighting the success of well-crafted franchise revivals.

Even though it launched exclusively on the Nintendo Switch, Super Mario Party Jamboree secured the sixth spot in the earnings ranking and led the Switch revenue chart.

Regarding playtime, Fortnite maintained its dominance as the most-played game across systems, with Call of Duty holding the second position despite achieving record-breaking sales and hosting the most successful opening weekend in the franchise's history.

Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero, although not in the overall top 20 for monthly active users, excelled on console platforms, swiftly climbing to the second position in revenue terms.
