"The results of the study are primarily relevant to players who prefer PC games, as they make up the majority of our platform's audience. I would like to point out that the gaming community in Russia is extensive in both interests and numbers. As of 2024, 22% of Russians (approximately 30 million citizens) play video games (according to VTsIOM data), and creating a 'universal profile' for such a community is challenging. Each individual has their unique preferences, and our goal was to showcase the uniqueness and diversity of our players' interests," said Oleg Tsarkov, head of the 4game analytics team, in a comment to App2Top.
