Analytics: In the first half of 2024, downloads of top VR games on Android devices reached a record level
Although sales of virtual reality headsets are declining, VR games are setting records for downloads. The service SplitMetrics found that in the first half of the year, Android device owners downloaded the 28 most popular VR games a total of 5.5 million times. This is 40% more than a year ago.

At this rate, SplitMetrics suggests, by the end of 2024, downloads of top VR games on Android could reach 11 million. For comparison: in 2023, they amounted to 8 million, and in 2022, 10 million.

1. Rec Room — 2.7 million downloads.
2. VR Thrills: Roller Coaster Game — 470 thousand downloads.
3. VR Roller Coaster 360 — 335 thousand downloads.
4. Sky On Fire: 1940 — 313 thousand downloads.
5. Fulldive VR — 295 thousand downloads.
