Study: Only 6% of all gamers play cloud games

The cloud gaming market is still far from widespread success, report GlobalData analysts. According to their estimates, in 2023, 184 million people, or 6% of all gamers, subscribed to cloud gaming services.

However, analysts predict a steady growth in the audience for cloud gaming services for at least the next six years. They assume that by 2030, 687 million people will subscribe.

GlobalData also calculated that last year, the market revenue was $3 billion. They expect to see revenue exceeding $22 billion by 2030.
