Study: Only 6% of all gamers play cloud games
The cloud gaming market is still far from achieving widespread success, reports GlobalData analysts. According to their estimates, in 2023, 184 million people, or 6% of all gamers, subscribed to cloud gaming services.
However, analysts predict steady growth in the audience for cloud gaming services at least for the next six years. They anticipate that by 2030, 687 million people will have subscriptions.
GlobalData also calculated that last year's market revenue was $3 billion. By 2030, they expect to see revenue exceed $22 billion.
