Study: 52% of Russian parents consider video games useful for children
More than half of parents living in Russia believe that video games do not harm their children. This conclusion was reached by Astrum Entertainment, which interviewed 6 thousand people.
According to 33% of parents who called games useful, they help to increase the speed of reaction and decision-making. Among other beneficial effects , parents noted:
▪️development of strategic thinking — 31%;
▪️training of perseverance and striving for victory — 22%;
▪️mastering new technologies — 21%;
▪️increased socialization -16%;
▪️study assistance — 8%.
Of all parents surveyed, 23% allow children to play as much as they want. At the same time, 12% allow you to play only on vacation.
59% of parents are not against their children working in the gaming industry.
