Marvel Snap tops $100 million in mobile revenue, solidifying its status as top-grossing CCG this year

Marvel Snap surpasses $100 million in mobile revenue, with US accounting for 61% of total

  • According to AppMagic, Marvel Snap reached $100 million in revenue over the weekend. At the moment of writing, its lifetime earnings amount to $100.89 million (revenue from in-app purchases reduced by platform fees and inclusive taxes).
  • The US is the number one country by revenue, with $62.1 million, or around 61% of the total. It is followed by South Korea (4%), Canada (3.3%), the UK (3%), Italy (3%), and Japan (2.6%).
  • December 2022 was the best month for Marvel Snap so far, with over $13.5 million in IAP revenue. This year, the game generates $9.1 million per month on average.

  • AppMagic data also shows that Marvel Snap is currently the top-grossing collectible card game on mobile globally, with over $73 million in IAP revenue this year. It is followed by Yu-Gi-Oh!   • Marvel Snap’s peak month was October 2022 (its global launch), when it generated over 7.4 million installs. Since then, downloads have declined, averaging around 900k per month over the last six months.

  • When it comes to platforms, the App Store accounts for 55% of Marvel Snap’s lifetime revenue. Google Play is the leader in terms of downloads, accounting for 69% of the total.
  • The game currently has a cumulative RpD (revenue per download) of $4.57. Hong Kong is the leader with $12.89, followed by the US ($11.7), South Korea ($7.6), Taiwan ($7.1), and Australia ($6.5).

Last week, Marvel Snap exited Early Access on Steam, where it currently has an 82% rating based on over 17k user reviews. According to SteamDB, it also peaked at 18,967 concurrent players.
