data.ai : revenue from mobile games falls for the second year in a row
Analytical service data.ai published a report on the state of the mobile market in the first half of 2023. According to him, against the background of a significant increase in revenue from mobile applications, revenue from mobile games continues to fall.
In the first six months of 2023, mobile games earned $40.9 billion. This is 0.73% less than the first half of 2022 and 8% less than the same period in 2021.
At the same time, the market of non-gaming applications has received a significant increase in the last year. In January-June, applications earned $26.6 billion. This is 16.6% more than in the first half of last year and 24.3% more than the results of the first half of 2021.

Non-gaming applications collected 46.4 billion installations in the first half of 2023. This is 4.4% more than last year for the same period.
