Analytics: in August, the Chinese gaming market sank by 21.9% year-on-year and by 3.85% month-on-month
The revenue of the gaming market in China is still not growing. According to calculations by Gamma Data, last month it decreased to ¥20 billion ($2.8 billion).
It is reported that mobile games accounted for ¥13.9 billion ($1.95 billion). This is 27.45% less than last year.
At the same time, the revenues of Chinese gaming companies abroad increased slightly. They amounted to $1.45 billion — an increase of 1.76% compared to July. However, it is not known how much they have changed compared to 2021.
