NPD Group: in July, the American gaming market fell by 9%
Just last month, American gamers spent $4.18 billion on video games, hardware and accessories, according to NPD Group analysts.
Americans spent $3.6 billion on the purchase of the games themselves, which is 10% less than a year ago. They spent another $362 million (+12%) on hardware, and $148 million (-22%) on accessories.
The best-selling game of July was MultiVersus. She managed to achieve this thanks to the sale of the founder’s kits.
