App Annie: Match-3 games from the EMEA region earned almost $1 billion in the third quarter

According to App Annie, in the third quarter, match-3 games developed by studios from the EMEA region earned almost $1 billion worldwide. Key dataAccording to the results of the third quarter, the highest-grossing game from EMEA was Royal Match from the Turkish studio Dream Games (by the way, in June, the valuation of the entire company reached $ 1 billion).

Despite the abundance of match-3 games from the EMEA region, the genre itself took only the fifth place in the world in terms of revenue.

The highest-grossing genre was 4X March—Battle, a hybrid of 4X strategies and battlers (State of Survival and War of Kingdoms, etc.). The second and third places were taken by various RPG subcategories, and slots were on the fourth line at the box office.
