Rezoner has released SpriteStack, a tool for creating and animating voxel graphics
The indie developer Rezoner has released software for creating voxel graphics. A tool called SpriteStack allows you to create 3D objects for use, including in games.
As 80lvl writes, using SpriteStack you can:
- draw a 2D sprite and get a 3D model in low resolution;
- animate it by keyframes;
- skip it through a retro-stylized render, setting up a lot of parameters (there is support for sprite tables and .vox files); you can also import and render already created models from the Magicavoxel editor.
SpriteStack is available in two versions: a free online editor and a paid standalone application. The above functions support both versions.
Note that the author of SpriteStack — Rezoner — is also the creator of the indie titles Wanderers and Wilds. It can be supported on Patreon.
