The American video game market in May fell by 11%
American users have reduced spending on video games and devices for them by 11% in May of this year, according to the analytical company NPD Group.
In general, over the past month, gamers in the United States spent $ 542 million on their hobby compared to $ 600 million for the same period last year.
According to NPD experts, the market has suffered due to the lack of strong releases comparable to Uncharted 4, Overwatch and Doom, which were released in May 2016.
As a result, gaming sales decreased by 20% to $271 million.
