Elon Musk: “Previously, due to poor graphics and sound, game developers had to rely on the plot”

The founder of SpaceX and the head of Tesla Motors, Elon Musk, in an interview with the CEO of the Y Combinator venture fund, Sam Altman, criticized the latest Deus Ex for the plot and noted that the stories used to be better in games.

A short previously unpublished fragment from the autumn conversation of two Silicon Valley stars – Musk and Altman – appeared on the network. Both complained that the plot is neglected in modern games.

In particular, Musk said that the presentation of the story in the latest Deus Ex is bad, unlike the original game. The interlocutors agreed that earlier, due to the fact that the level of graphics and sound was low, developers had to rely on history.

Both Musk and Altman are currently playing Overwatch.
